What is Data Hog?

Data Hog is a Google Sheets add-on designed to help educators and professionals filter, fetch, and format data directly within spreadsheets. Users can create custom filters, save and reuse filter sets, and export filtered data into various formats like PDFs, CSVs, and new spreadsheets.

Why Does Data Hog Request Access to Your Google Data?

Data Hog integrates with Google Sheets and Drive to enhance your spreadsheet experience. We request the following permissions:

• View/edit Google Sheets: To read and filter spreadsheet data and insert formulas or output results.
• Access Drive: To export filtered data as new files (PDFs, CSVs, or Sheets) and store them in your Google Drive.
• External request permission: To optionally fetch public resources or link to external tools for extended functionality.
• UI access: To display a friendly sidebar interface inside Google Sheets.

Your Privacy (Privacy Policy)

Data Hog does not collect or store your personal data. All processing is performed within your Google account and under your control. We do not share your data with third parties or retain any information beyond what is used during your session.
